Bassenthwaite Lake and Silver Meadows, a wet land board walk of approx.1.5 km, are a haven for wildlife not to be missed. Visit in spring when the nesting Ospreys return, when daffodils cover the garden and when new born lambs gambol in the fields next to the house or in Autumn to see the changing colours of the fells or in Winter to enjoy the snow-capped peaks. We are a year round destination.Wake up to a hearty Cumberland breakfast made with finest local produce including free range eggs, fresh fruit and homemade granola which will set you up for the day. We can also provide evening meals on request and are happy to send you off with a packed lunch and full flask. Link House provides you with a dedicated guest lounge with stunning views, wi-fi or access to a computer, flat screen digital TV's in all rooms, private off road parking, cycle storage, drying facilities and a licensed bar.We have now joined up with The Spa at Armathwaite Hall to be able to offer you use of the fantastic facilities there. This superb Spa has all the facilities you could ask for from full gym and pools to steam rooms and saunas. There is even an outdoor Jacuzzi pool and also a wide range of treatments that can be booked.To use the spa facilities you just need to upgrade your room to include a spa package. Room upgrades are available from £10 per person per session. You cannot book day tickets direct with the Spa. Directions

From Junction 40 on M6 take the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue past Keswick on the A66 to the northern end of Bassenthwaite Lake, 400 metres after the dual carriageway ends take a right turn (signposted Castle Inn, Dubwath). FOLLOW THE ROAD ROUND TO THE LEFT and Link House is at the top of the hill on your right.
